Lifehouse Special

Lifehouse is a rock band from Los Angeles, California that has been around for over two decades. Composed of lead singer and guitarist Jason Wade, bassist Bryce Soderberg, and drummer Rick Woolstenhulme Jr., Lifehouse has produced hit songs that have landed them on top music charts. Their introspective lyrics, soulful melodies, and hard-hitting rock sound have made them one of the most popular bands in modern music. In this article, we will take a closer look at Lifehouse and their journey to success.

Lifehouse was formed in 1999 when Jason Wade met Sergio Andrade, who would later become the band's bassist. The duo started writing songs together and soon recruited drummer Jon "Diff" Palmer to form the original lineup of the band. They started performing gigs around Los Angeles and eventually caught the attention of DreamWorks Records.

In 2000, Lifehouse released their debut album "No Name Face," which included their smash hit single "Hanging by a Moment." The song topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart for three weeks and earned Lifehouse a Billboard Music Award for Hot 100 Single of the Year.

With their newfound success, Lifehouse quickly went back into the studio to record their second album "Stanley Climbfall." Although it did not reach the same commercial heights as their debut album, it still produced several successful singles such as "Spin" and "Take Me Away."

Their third album, "Lifehouse," was released in 2005 and marked a turning point for the band. It featured more guitar-driven rock songs than their previous releases and showcased Jason Wade's songwriting abilities even more prominently. The album spawned several hits such as "You And Me" and "Blind," which helped solidify Lifehouse's position as one of the top rock bands in America.

In 2007, they released their fourth album titled "Who We Are," which showed a more mature side of Lifehouse's sound. Songs like "Whatever It Takes" and "Broken" proved to be successful once again with fans praising Wade's passionate songwriting abilities.

In 2010, after releasing their fifth studio album titled “Smoke & Mirrors,” Sergio Andrade left the band due to personal reasons. This led to some speculation about whether or not Lifehouse could continue without its founding member.

However, this did not stop Lifehouse from pushing forward. Bryce Soderberg replaced Andrade as bassist and they continued touring extensively across America. They also released several more albums including “Almer?a” in 2012 and “Out Of The Wasteland” in 2015 - both showcasing different sides of their evolving sound.

Today, with over two decades under their belt as a band, Lifehouse continues to be relevant in today’s music scene thanks to memorable songs that stand out from other rock bands out there. Their style may have changed over time but one thing remains constant - heartfelt lyrics that resonate with audiences worldwide.

From humble beginnings playing gigs around Los Angeles to performing on stages around the world - it’s safe to say that Lifehouse has come a long way since forming twenty-two years ago. Even though they have faced adversity along the way they continue to produce hit after hit while maintaining loyal fans throughout generations.

So if you’re looking for authentic rock music with heart - look no further than Lifehouse!
