2 Chainz, whose real name is Tauheed Epps, is an American rapper and songwriter known for his unique style and catchy lyrics. Born on September 12, 1977 in College Park, Georgia, he grew up in a single-parent household with his mother and grandmother.

Before pursing a career in music 2 Chainz was an athlete who played basketball at Alabama State University. However, after sustaining a knee injury, he turned to music and formed the hip-hop duo Playaz Circle with childhood friend Earl Conyers.

In 2007, Playaz Circle signed to Ludacris' record label Disturbing tha Peace and released their debut album "Supply & Demand," which featured hit singles such as "Duffle Bag Boy" featuring Lil Wayne. The success of the album brought attention to 2 Chainz's unique flow and witty wordplay.

After leaving Disturbing tha Peace in 2010, 2 Chainz began his solo career and released a series of mixtapes that gained him a loyal fanbase. In 2012, he released his debut studio album "Based on a T.R.U. Story," which debuted at number one on the Billboard charts and featured popular tracks such as "No Lie" featuring Drake and "Birthday Song" featuring Kanye West.

Since then, 2 Chainz has released multiple successful albums including "B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time," "Pretty Girls Like Trap Music," and "Rap or Go to the League." He has also collaborated with various artists such as Lil Wayne, Ariana Grande, Chance the Rapper, and Kendrick Lamar.

Aside from his music career, 2 Chainz has also dabbled in fashion by launching his own clothing line called CEO Millionaires. He has also appeared on various television shows such as Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Most Expensivest.

Despite his success, 2 Chainz remains humble and dedicated to his craft. He has stated in interviews that his love for music motivates him to continue creating and pushing boundaries.
