Adele Special

Adele has such a powerful, soulful, and unique voice that people immediately recognize her.

Adele is a British singer-songwriter who has sold millions of albums worldwide and won a total of 15 Grammys. Her real name is Adele Laurie Blue Adkins, and she was born on May 5, 1988, in North London, England.

Adele was drawn to the songs of Lauryn Hill, Mary J Blige, and Destiny's Child. In 2003, at the age of 15, she found CDs by Etta James and Ella Fitzgerald at a jazz antique store. She began to listen to Etta James every day, which helped her discover her own voice.

Adele recorded some demos and opened a MySpace account to showcase her songs and demos. After that, she signed a deal with "XL Recordings." In 2008, Adele released her first album, "19," which included two popular lead singles, "Hometown Glory" and "Chasing Pavements," and it reached No. 1 on the British album chart.

In 2011, her second album, "21" (named again for her age at the time of recording), was released, which included several hit singles, including "Rolling in the Deep" and "Someone Like You." Both songs topped the charts and broke many sales records, selling 352,000 copies within the first week, making Adele the only artist besides The Beatles and 50 Cent to achieve that milestone. Her album "21" stayed at No. 1 for 11 weeks, breaking the solo female artist record set by Madonna's "Immaculate Collection" for consecutive weeks atop the album charts. "21" became Adele's biggest album.

She also wrote a song, "Skyfall," for the 23rd James Bond movie of the same title. She has become one of the most popular performers of the present generation. This song became another hit and was nominated for several awards. It then won the Best Original Song trophies at the 2013 Golden Globe Awards and the 2013 Oscars.

In 2015, Adele released her third album, "25." The album became an international smash hit, reaching No. 1 on iTunes in 110 countries. "25" sold 3.38 million copies in seven days in the U.S., beating the *NSYNC record of 2.42 million album copies sold in a week. "25" is the only album to reach a million copies sold in the United States in 10 days. In 2021, Adele released her fourth album, "30."

Adele has been nominated for 74 multiple awards and has won 45 awards (including Grammy Awards, Academy Awards, USA, ASCAP Film and Television Music Awards, and many more).

She doesn't need dancers behind her. She just sings on stage, and her voice spreads across the world.
