Hi everyone! How are you? Flowers are blooming everywhere and the cold winter is over finally. A beautiful season is coming!! COVID-19 is still spreading whole wide world but I just hope that this crazy situation will be over soon and we can enjoy music in the near future.
Let’s talk about “Justin Bieber” this month. I knew his name and some of his music, but I didn’t know that much about him to be honest with you. So I took a little time to learn about him for you all.
Justin Bieber was born on March 1, 1994, in the small town of Stratford, Ontario, Canada.
His real name is Justin Drew Bieber.
In 2007, Bieber was just 12 years old. He sang Ne-Yo’s song “So sick” for a local singing competition in Stratford and won second place. His mother posted his performance video on You tube, and she continued to upload videos of him singing covers of R&B songs. Bieber was communicated with followers on You tube and he became a famous in town.
At that time Scooter Braun ( he is an American media entrepreneur, record executive, and investor. Also known as music manager for Ariana Grande, and other artists.) was searching for videos of a new unique singer. He clicked on one of Bieber's 2007 Youtube videos by accident. Braun tracked down the theatre Bieber was performing in, located Bieber's school, and finally contacted Justin.
At age13, Bieber went to Atlanta, Georgia with Braun to record demo tapes. Then Bieber sang for Usher one week later. Bieber was soon signed to RBMG ( Raymond Braun Media Group) with a contract between Braun and Usher. (Justin Timberlake was also reportedly in the running to sign Bieber but Usher won.)
On December 20, 2009, He performed for President Obama at white house Christmas special and sang Bryan Wells's "Someday at Christmas”.
At the age of 13, Bieber became a teen-pop sensation with hits like "Baby" and "Boyfriend." After several years he has recorded 98 Hot 100 songs. Justin Bieber has been on the Artist 100 Chart for 321 weeks.
In 2009 he release of his debut album “My World”, then he release “My World 2.0”. (This is considered the second half of a two-piece project.) “My World 2.0” debuted at number one on the Canadian albums chart, Australian albums chart, New Zealand albums chart, Irish albums chart, and also reached the top ten of fifteen other countries!!
In 2010 he released “My Worlds Acoustic”.
In 2015 “Purpose” was released.
In 2017 Bieber was the second most followed user of Twitter, while his VEVO channel made him the third most subscribed user of Youtube until 2018 where he became the second most subscribed user of Youtube.
As of April 2021, his You tube channel has 62 million subscribers and 24.2 billion total views.
He released hit songs and collaborations with various artists such as Rapper Lil Wayne, Ariana Grande, Will.i.am ( from Black Eyed Peas), Boyz II Men, Chris Brown, Mariah Carey and more. These songs brought him acclaim and won many titles and record awards.
In his personal life, at 2018, He married with Hailey Baldwin (she is an American model).
He was going to do world tour on 2021, but it was postponed due to COVID-19. He still continues to communicate with fans on YouTube or Twitter. He also has done several TV programs to give positive messages to all of his fans.
His debut was when he was just 13 years old. Most people don’t know anything at that age. No doubt many people think “he was just lucky to become success artist ”, but I believe that luck is everywhere. It’s up to you what you want to do, and where you are going to reach. I think he was just ready to be successful.
